The Motocross South Africa Junior MX Academy
is an initiative to re-introduce PeeWee training, riding
and racing back into the industry. For far too long
young riders and their parents have been oblivious to
the existence of the sport and the introduction of riders
into it has all but come to a grinding halt.
We have partnered with global companies and industry
leaders like Yamaha, Racestar Graffix, Leatt,
Fox, Oset, Strider no balance bikes and X-Stream
Balance to raise awareness about junior riding and
more importantly make it easily accessible.
Our goal is to grow our development program alongside
these student riders and ultimately offer rider development
to any rider of any age interested in learning Motocross
both socially and competitively.

Why learn to ride:
It is a common misconception in South Africa that kids
are only able to ride a motorcycle once they are much
older. That is not true. Not only can kids learn to
ride as young as 4 years old but there is a specific
range of motorcycles made for them to do so. They are
even able to compete at that age.
Under the guidance of trained professionals, they can
learn to ride in a safe and responsible way.
Learning to ride a motorcycle not only teaches the rider
skills and a passion that they will most likely carry
with them throughout their lives but it also teaches
many young riders life skills that will help in their
development as they get older.
